Governor's Antiques Mechanicsville, VA

Tucked away on a side road called Antique Lane in Mechanicsville, VA, hidden from the causal passerby is a treasure trove for the home owner and antique shop enthusiast, alike.  A plethora of items from lighting to claw-foot bathtubs is to be found.

We were quite surprised at the sheer footage let alone the wall to wall selection from door knobs to vintage art.  Stained glass windows litter the space as well as Tiffany style lamps, artwork, vintage toys and a host of garden statues.

There is even a man cave with instruments, old radios, neon signs and sporting goods.

The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, ready and able to help you find what you need. They told us that they also install and repair items purchased from them so you wouldn't need to seek outside services.

They say, "if you can't find it here, you won't find it."

Hubby found a few pipes to refurbish and add to his collection.  Sadly, I didn't find a treasure this time but when we get our house I know where to go.
